逃げる女

エスカレーターに乗る。
立っているだけで、身体は上へ運ばれていく。
その先で何も起きないことを、
疑いもしない。
どこへ運ばれ、
何として置かれるのかも知らないまま、
逃げている。

She steps onto an escalator.
Simply by standing still,
her body is carried upward.
She never doubts
that nothing will happen at the top.
Not knowing where she is being carried,
or what she will be placed there as,
she flees.
