身体はそこにいる。 しかし、誰としてそこにいるのか。
2008年、家族写真の中の自分の顔を指で隠した。 すると、そのときの記憶まで他人事のように感じられた。 →「Memories」 18年後、私はまた家族写真の中にいる。 今度は「娘」ではなく、「母親」として。 母親として必要とされ、そこにいる。 けれど、それは 「自分としてそこにいる」ことと同じなのだろうか。 今後、写真・映像・布・立体を用いたインスタレーションへ展開していく。

The body is there.
But who is it there as?
In 2008, I covered my own face with my finger in a family photograph.
Even the memory of that moment began to feel as though it belonged to someone else.
Eighteen years later, I am in a family photograph again—
this time not as a daughter, but as a mother.
I am there because I am needed as a mother.
But is that the same as
being there as myself?
This work will develop into an installation incorporating photography,
moving image, fabric, and sculptural elements.
